Summer Positions 2008 Summer Staff Positions and Stipends(All stipend amounts are per week minus taxes.) Activities Leader $210 The Activities Leader will be responsible for the "fun and games" part of camp (i.e. planning and executing games and activities), as well as assisting the Program Director with the overall operation of the camp program. Lifeguard $157 The Life Guard is responsible for the safety of campers and staff at all waterfront locations, as well as helping the Program Director and the Activities Leader. Nurse $215 The Nurse must have at least 2 years of nursing training (RN, LPN, or equivalents preferred), and be currently certified in First Aid and CPR. The Nurse is responsible for the safety and health of campers and staff. A/V Technician $157 The AV Technician will be responsible for all pictures, powerpoints, and sound activities during the camp week. Speaker $235 The Speaker is responsible for the spiritual well-being and growth of campers and staff. The Speaker is also responsible for leading Bible classes in the morning, as well as a chapel service in the evening. Head Counselor $157 The Head Counselor may be done in conjunction with another position. Senior Counselors (over 18 years of age) --In High School $147 --Post High School $157 --In College $168 The Senior Counselor is responsible for the safety, supervision, and spiritual nurture of 5-10 campers, Senior Counselors will also assist the program Director as needed and other support staff as needed Junior Counselors (15-17 years of age) $45 The Junior Counselor is responsible for assisting the Senior Counselor in the safety, supervision, and spiritual nurture of 5-10 campers. ~ Attendance is required at Operation Co-Operat 1FF0 ion in March. Dining Room Host $130 The Dining Room Hostess is responsible for supervising kitchen aids and overseeing dining room preparation. The Dining Room Hostess will also assist the cooks as needed. Kitchen Aids $105 A Kitchen Aid is responsible for set-up and clean-up of the dining hall and kitchen. Kitchen Aides will also report to the Dining Room Hostess and cooks for other duties. Maintenance Helper $150 The Maintenance Assistant will work with the Caretaker to perform general camp maintenance.
